If the Vampire gun hits, you will see a splash of blood. Continue to hold the trigger and your enemy will begin to wiggle and scream. While this is happening, the Vampire gun is sucking out their blood, making them shrink. This in turn gives you health. However, the tougher the enemy, the longer it takes to fully drain them. This can leave you wide open for attack, rendering what health you obtained useless. Make sure no other enemies are around when you use it.
