Hopefully you'll materialise over him and score a frag. 10) Caught in a trap: When you find a key or megasphere in an empty room it may be an ambush. If possible collect it running back towards the door. Exit before the trap is sprung. How to kill the enemies: ----------------------- Knight of Hell: These junior barons should be one of your lowest priorities until they get right up close to you. Then simply wipe them off the face of the planet with a plasma gun. Pain Elemental: Chain gun these critters dead centre in the face. Hit them the moment they appear and keep firing as they explode because they burst into these rather ugly heads. Mancubus: The trick here is to stay far enough away to slip between their double missiles. A rapid fire weapon will hit them quickly enough to prevent any return of fire. Arachnotrons: Hide. Then pop up and return fire with a rapid fire weapon. At close quarters if you have plenty to hide behind use the double barrel. Three shots should do the trick. Heavy Weapons Dude: Always a thorny problem these guys will be felled with just one shotgun blast. But you'll have to work particularly fast because they'll be firing at you constantly. Revenants: Keep well away from these. Best lured into corridors: out in the open the missiles can chase you round corners. Use the super shotgun. Archvile: The Archvile is most vunerable when he's resurrecting a corpse. You may only get one chance at him so now's the time to pull out the BFG. Cheats: ========= Use like the cheats from Doom: iddt - Type this on the map screen several times to reveal all the objects and the full map. It will soon erase itself. iddqd - Degreeless mode toggle. Turns you into a god who cannot be hurt by anything. idfa - Full ammo & 200% armour idkfa - Full ammo & 200% armour plus all keys idclip - No clipping. How to defeat the last boss: ============================== Hit the skull switch straight away and stay on the top level until the Icon has stopped spitting monsters into the room. Clear the room level by level. Enter the lava and push the tower to lower the lift. Get on it and fire your rockets into the exposed brain just before the lift reaches its highest point.
