Instead, practice the art of the slide, letting off the accelerator and jamming into a corner, then jamming back onto the accelerator as soon as possible. * Be careful when using the turbo boost power-up. It often will give you too much speed and you'll find yourself catapulted off the course. And never use it before you hit a jump, or you'll fly farther that you'd ever imagine. * The start of the race is the most crucial time. You'll be blasting past about half the cars during the first lap, and all of them will be shooting at your backside. * Familiarize yourself with the look and locations of the repair power-up.
