Grinch, The cheats / Grinch, The hints / Grinch, The faqs / Grinch, The solutions Grinch, The hints Missions ----------------------------------- Hard-to-find Firework: The last firework (the others are obvious) you can get from the climbing up the icicles that you dropped down from the ceiling, jumping over to the ledge, and going up the ice wall with the octopus climber. go outside of the cave and use the branches to swing over to the ledge that the firework is on. while swinging, just hold down the X button and you should make it all the way over. If your icicles have disappeared, then you will need to wait until you have the Grinch Copter. ----------------------------------- ADVANCING THE COUNTDOWN-TO-XMAS CLOCK "Sneak" into the tower and use the ROCKET SPRING to jump up and open the hatch. 1st level-looking at the levers standing in front of the switch (from bottom to top): right, left, right (move each switch) 2nd level-left, right, left (the lever closest to the switch also moves the one in the middle so you won't need to move the middle lever). This will lower the platform. Push/pull the crate onto that platform, then switch the lever closest to the gears and that should raise the platform, which will drop the crate onto the other platform, which will open the next hatch. 3rd level-standing in front of the big, pink gear looking at the 3 levers on the left (from bottom to top): left, left, right (you should only move the lever closest to the big, pink gear). Next, push/pull crate in front of the big, pink gear; get on the crate and push the gear in. Push/pull crate onto the lower platform. Switch the lever closest to the crate, and the other levers should be (standing in front of the big, pink gear) from bottom to top: left, right, left. The hatch should now open. 4th level-send Max into the BLUE door to get the HAMMER and the blueprint. Look at the picture on the wall; it'll tell you what the order is of the melody. Now use the ROCKET SPRING to ring the different colored bells in the order of the picture. Go into the next room and walk up to the guy with the bell on his head then hit him with the hammer. ----------------------------------- 9 PIPES when you enter, go left. there is one that the big ball thing is circling. (the Grinch swings on the rod that sticks out). keep going left, past the blue pipe and there is another one. there is one in the pipe that sticks out of the ground (in the main area) in the green pipe area there is a T shaped one by the wrecking ball. (shoot an egg at the T) there is a T shaped one in the pipe hole in the green area rat area. this one needs to be pushed in. as soon as you enter the blue pipe area, look up. there is one in the pipe hole in the blue area there is one more T shaped one in the blue area past the electric fence. ----------------------------------- SPECIAL ITEMS (WHOLAKE) SCOUT COSTUME (south wholake): Find the hut on top of the hill you can only get to using the branches you swing up on. To get the ball rolling, approach and breathe on him. Your breath is pretty bad - he gags and gets a little angry... he will start shooting at you. Stay away till he reloads and then breathe on him again and you'll get his hat. Breathe on him again and butt bounce on him when he falls down to earn his shirt. Now he starts charging at you! Lead him around until you get to the part of the wall with the moose head, and he charges right into the wall underneath it. Done properly, the head drops on him and you'll have the entire outfit. DRILL (north wholake area): in the pink house up on the hill by the sonic scarecrow ROPE (mayor's villa area): jump onto the platform that looks like a scale. the boat will raise up. use Max to get the ROPE. HOOK (mayor's villa area): you get the hook from the pirate. first you will need to see him, then he will tell you to collect some scout SCARVES; five of them. ----------------------------------- SCOUT SCARVES: the scout standing on the big tree stump; to knock him off, set up the log contraption so the log is pulled back, then shoot a beehive down and run over to the switch to knock the scout off of the stump. scout standing on the dock; breathe on him til he falls off. up past the mayor's villa and past the waterfall, you will need to get the Grinch Copter before you can get the flying scout. past the pirates cave and down toward the shore; breathe on the scout till he falls in the water. up above the mayor's villa (you need the Grinch Copter) you'll need to get in front of the scout so that the fence opening is behind him. breathe on him then slime shoot him. keep doing this until he falls off. ----------------------------------- 5 SLEIGH PIECES: South WhoLake: play the crow game WhoLake (Submarine World): play the tuba fish game.
