Wear it down with full frontal attacks, but be prepared to get the hell out of Dodge once you've depleted your ordinance. Once safely out of range you can shoot down flying drones to replenish energy and weapons for another sweep. Hint: With no mouse support it's a good idea to keep your view pointed semi-skyward as you move around. This way, those flying bots have a habit of materializing right in your gun sights. Hint: Take out the Sentients as quickly as possible if your armor and ammo statuses are good.
