The easiest way to shift your Spot view is to use the Shift key and the keypad. For example, Shift-keypad 6 gives you the view out of your plane's right window, while Shift-keypad 4 shows the view through the left window. Work your way around that keypad! * Aerial Photography: Capture your most exciting moments of flight on film -- like the time you buzzed the World Trade Center in New York City, or flew under the Golden Gate (or Bay Bridge) of San Francisco. Just open the Views menu, and click Flight Photograph. Use the Filename box to name your photo, press Enter, and click OK.The image will be saved as a PCX file in Flight Sim's root directory. Use Paintbrush (TM) or another graphics program to view your brilliant photographic work. * Coastal Pilot: You haven't really seen a country until you've flown completely around its borders. Depending upon the size of the country (and your Flight Control Realism settings), such an expedition could take days to complete. After you've flown the complete borders of a nation, you can follow it's rivers. One fun run is to follow the Mississippi River and its tributaries from the Gulf of Mexico to the Great Lakes, and beyond. And when flying the East Coast, don't forget to dip in for a complete tour of Chesapeake Bay. * And Now for a Replay! You can enjoy your best moments of Flight Simulator as if you were constantly being followed by television video crews. From the Options menu, click Instant Replay. If the Repeat Replay box isn't checked, click the box, and then click OK. Enjoy the show! For a slow-motion replay, type 50 or 25 in the Replay Speed box, press Enter, and click OK. * The Pause that Refreshes: When things get tense, for instance, during those pesky nightime aircraft carrier landings, remember that you can press the Pause key (or the P key) to freeze the action while you wipe your brow, run to the bathroom, or grab something to eat. When ready to jump back into action, just press Pause again. * Flying through the Night : Just because you have to go to sleep at night (or to work in the morning) doesn't mean that your airplane has to sulk in the hangar. Try leaving your plane in flight while you're sleeping or working, and then use Map View to figure out where you are upon returning to your screen. You might want to have your Flight Control Realism set for 0, so you don't run out of fuel. Other Microsoft Flight Simulator 5.1 cheats hints faqs solutions: |
