It includes videos, animation, and text that explains everything from aerodynamics to Zulu time, and it's packed with information about how to use all the features in Flight Simulator. Look Around! You don't have to stare over the instrument panel as you're flying. It's easy to switch views to look out over your left and right wing tips--or even check the tail. If you're flying with a joystick that has a "hat" switch, move the switch left, right, and to the rear to change your view. You can also use the keyboard to change views. Hold down the SHIFT key and press one of the numbers on the numeric keypad. You'll find a complete list of the keyboard shortcuts for switching view in the online Pilot's Help in Flight Simulator. Look for the topic "Key Combinations for Views" in the "Using Flight Simulator" section. An Out-of-Body Experience! Want to see what your flying skill looks like to the rest of the world? Try spot plane view. You're still in command of your Flight Simulator airplane, but you've got a bird's eye view. To switch to spot plane view, click Spot Plane View on the Views menu (or press the S key twice). To change the position from which you see your airplane, move the "hat" switch on your joystick, or hold down SHIFT and press one of the number keys on the numeric keypad.
