If you get called to stop a mugger, robber, etc., then instead of dispatching the police and having to wait there or picking up a cop and watching him/her chase him around, you can simply land on top of the criminal and it will kill him. Don't worry, you won't loose points for hurting another sim, you'll gain points. Now, if the criminal is on a hill and you can't land on him, then you lower your altitude so its almost touching the ground and go foward and make a sharp turn away from the crimal and the blades will get him.
