Aim for the head, and you'll do even more damage and drop a foe in one shot most of the time. Hint: It's much easier to achieve "situational awareness" if you play in first-person as much as possible--use the mouse-look and strafe together to give yourself the ability to spin around corners and "circle strafe" your opponents. Hint: Due to the poor controls, stealth really is the best way to avoid too many enemies at one time--keep a sharp eye for enemies at a distance.
