When you reach the "Upper Courtyard", you'll have to make your way through the building along the pipes, out the window and push the box to the edge of the water so that you can jump over. Once you do what you have to do (no spoilers) and return to the area, you will have to pull a switch near the staircase to open the door. Right near the switch is a tree. Swipe at the tree a few times with your weapon. A ball will fall out. Take the ball up the stairs, and look to your left. Located between the two stairways you will see the middle is slightly a different shade of brick. Drop the ball and push on this middle area. The wall will revolve and you will enter a secret room. Have Yorda and Ico stand on the raised pedestal. A stone basket will pop up. Take the ball to the left or right of the basket and try to throw it in the basket. Standing near the wall helps.
