Just pick up one of the four Mudokons in the Meep field and take them up the ramp you came down. Walk off the edge, pick them up again, and throw them off (do not follow them). Repeat until all of them are dead. Then, get 50 Spooce and go to the Resurrection Totem. Revive the Mudokons five times (the four you killed, and one that is there at the start of the level). The four that you have killed no longer sit around ignoring you -- they are now perfectly normal Mudokons. This takes a while to do, but nowhere near as long as herding the Meeps.
